In a guideline study (OECD TG 301B), conducted to GLP, platinum (2+) tetraammine diacetate was readily biodegradable within the 28 day exposure period, in the presence of activated sludge. A mean biodegradation of 66% was observed on day 29, and the ten-day window criterion was met (Desmares-Koopmans, 2004).
