In a guideline-compliant study, conducted to GLP, the boiling point of platinum(II) tetraammine diacetate could not be determined. The test substance was found by differential scanning calorimetry to decompose from 200 deg C, prior to boiling.
Platinum(II) tetraammine diacetate was determined by differential scanning calorimetry to decompose from 200 deg C, prior to boiling (Mekelburger, 2004b).
The test item decomposed before boiling occurred and therefore no boiling point could be determined.
