Conclusions:
Using the flask method ist was shown that the solubility of 3-Bromo-1-(3-chloro-2-pyridinyl)-1H-pyrazole-5-carboxylic acid shows pH dependance ranging from 6161 mg/L (pH = 4) to 8840 mg/L (pH = 7).
Executive summary:

The objective of this study is to determine the solubility in water of 3-Bromo-1-(3-chloro-2-pyridinyl)-1H-pyrazole-5-carboxylic acid following the Regulation (EC) No.1907/2006 - and Council regulation (EC) No. 260/2014 - EC A.6. method (2014) and OECD  Guideline No. 105 (1995).

The solubility of 3-Bromo-1-(3-chloro-2-pyridinyl)-1H-pyrazole-5-carboxylic acid in water performed at three pH (4, 7 and 9) was as followed:

pH (4) = 4161 mg/L

pH(7) = 8840 mg/L

pH (9) = 6142 mg/L

Description of key information

The objective of this study was to determine the solubility of 3-Bromo-1-(3-chloro-2-pyridinyl)-1H-pyrazole-5-carboxylic acid

in water following the Regulation (EC) No.1907/2006 - and Council regulation (EC) No. 260/2014 - EC A.6. method (2014) and OECD  Guideline No. 105 (1995).

The solubility of 3-Bromo-1-(3-chloro-2-pyridinyl)-1H-pyrazole-5-carboxylic acid in water performed at three pH (4, 7 and 9) is determined to:

pH (4) = 4161 mg/L

pH(7) = 8840 mg/L

pH (9) = 6142 mg/L

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Water solubility:
8 840 mg/L
at the temperature of:
20.3 °C
