Fire-fighting measures
Recommended extinguishing agent: Schaum, Wasser, Kohlendioxid, Trockenlöschmittel
"ENGLISH"
Foam, water, CO2 or dry chemical agents can be used. There
is not considered to be any adverse reaction to water.
Product arising from burning: Kohlendioxid, Stickstoff und Schwefeloxide.
"ENGLISH"
CO2 and nitrogen and sulphur oxides. Incomplete combustion
leads to the formation of CO and other carbon, nitrogen
and sulphur oxides as well as other volatile organic
compounds and chlorine compounds such as hydrogen chloride.
If water is used as the extinguishing agent, acid gases of
sulphur and nitrogen are dissolved in water and
form acid products.

Protective equipment: Overalls, umluftunabhängiges Atemschutzgerät
"ENGLISH"
Coveralls, self contained respirator.
Accidental release measures
Emergency measures in case of spillage: Verschüttetes Material unter Vermeidung von Staubentwicklung
aufnehmen (z.B. mit baumustergeprüftem Industriestaubsauger)
und in geeigneten Gebinden zur Entsorgung sammeln. Gebinde
gemäß TRGS 201 kennzeichnen und unter Berücksichtigung und
in Übereinstimmung mit den nationalen und lokalen
Vorschriften entsorgen.
Beim Aufnehmen des Stoffes Haut- und Augenkontakt sowie
Einatmen vermeiden. Zu diesem Zweck die unter "Handhabung"
beschriebene persönliche Schutzausrüstung tragen.
"ENGLISH"
Take up spilled material avoiding the formation of dusts
(e.g. with an industrial vacuum cleaner of approved design)
and collect in suitable packing drums for the purpose of
disposal.Label packing drums in accordance with TRGS 201 and
dispose of in consideration of and in conformity with the
national and local rules.
Avoid skin and eye contact as well as inhalation when taking
up the substance. For this purpose, wear the personal
protective equipment described under "handling".
Handling and storage
Probenahmen sollten geschlossene bzw. zumindest staubdichte
Vorrichtungen verwendet werden. Beim Umgang in offenen
Systemen sollte möglicher Staub unmittelbar am Enstehungsort
abgesaugt werden. Wenn technische Absaug- oder
Lüftungsmaßnahmen nicht möglich oder unzureichend sind,
sollte Atemschutz getragen werden. Zur Vermeidung von
Hautkontakt sollten geprüfte Schutzhandschuhe und geeignete
Schutzkleidung getragen werden. Ein sicherer Augenschutz
(z.B. Korbbrille) ist unbedingt erforderlich. In
unmittelbarer Nähe des Arbeitsbereiches sollten Augenbrausen
bereitgestellt und ihr Standort auffällig gekennzeichnet
werden. Die Straßenkleidung sollte getrennt von der
Arbeitskleidung aufbewahrt werden. Bei möglicher
Staubentwicklung sollten wegen der potentiellen
Staubexplosionsgefahr potentielle Zündquellen aus dem
Arbeitsbereich entfernt werden. Des weiteren sollten
Maßnahmen gegen elektrostatische Aufladungen getroffen
werden.
"ENGLISH"
All of the working procedures must always be designed so
that the exposure through inhalation of the substance as
through skin contact is as low as possible and eye contact
is excluded. Closed or at least dustproof equipment should
be used during filling and metered feeding work as well as
during sampling.
In the case of handling open systems, any dust that may form
should be extracted directly at the point of origin.
If technical extraction or ventilation measures are not
possible or are insufficient, respiratory protection (e.g. )
should be worn. Safe eye protection (e.g. ..) is absolutely
essential.
Eye douches should be made available in the immediate
vicinity of the working area and their location conspicously
marked. Outdoor clothing should be kept separate from the
working clothes. In the case of a possible formation of
dust, due to the potential dust explosion risk, potential
ignition sources should be removed from the working area.
In addition, measures should be taken to prevent
static discharges.
Storage: In vorschriftsmäßig gekennzeichneten, bruchsicheren
Behältern trocken bei Raumtemperatur lagern.
Gebinde geschlossen halten, gegen Herabfallen sichern und
vor Feuchtigkeit und Hitze schützen. Produktreste an/auf den
Gebinden vermeiden.
"ENGLISH"
Store at room temperature in unbreakable containers that
are labelled in accordance with the regulations.
Keep packing drums closed and protect against falling and
against moisture and heat. Avoid product residues on the
packing drums.
Packaging of the substance and or preparation: Kartonschachteln mit PE-Innenhülle (50 l, ca. 80 kg)
"ENGLISH"

Disposal considerations
Industry - Possibility of recovery/recycling: Bei der normalen Anwendung wird ca. 75 % durch irreversible
Bindung an Baumwolle und Cellulosefasern verbraucht.
Recycling der verbleibenden Substanz ist nicht einfach
machbar.
"ENGLISH"
Normal application results in the consumption of
approximately 75% by irreversible binding to the cotton or
cellulose fibres. Recovery for recycling of the remaining
substance is not reasonably practicable.
Industry - Possibility of neutralisation: Keine Möglichkeiten bekannt
"ENGLISH"
No suitable method known.
Industry - Possibility of destruction: controlled discharge: Nicht geeignet
"ENGLISH"
Not suitable for deposit in landfill site.
Industry - Possibility of destruction - incineration: Code 661:

Code 661:
Incinerator with flue gas scrubbing.
Industry - Possibility of destruction - water purification: Code 641:
"ENGLISH"
Code 641: Removal by controlled discharge to a waste water
treatment plant.
It is estimated that approximately 25% of the total quantity
used is discharged into internal industrial effluents as
highly diluted solution. Purification of the waste water
in a waste water treatment plant is required.
The dyestuff shall only be used in a well-equipped dye
house. If necessary, the waste water can be purified prior
to the waste water treatment by membrane filtration or by
floculation with cationic agents or by treatment with ozone.
The most effective method is the membrane filtration: more
than 99% of the remaining dyestuff can be removed from the
waste water.
