Description of key information

The vapor pressure of C4 F-isonitrile is 2224 mm Hg at 25°C.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

No guideline was followed, but the key study was well documented and similar to OECD Guideline 104: “Vapour pressure”. Therefore the key study is classified as reliable with restrictions. In a supporting study, the vapor pressure of C4 F-isonitrile was calculated to be 2.8E+05 Pa (2.1E+03 mm Hg) at 25°C using the Antoine Equation method described by Lyman and the experimentally determined boiling point of 268.45 K. The supporting study is based on a calculation using a generally accepted equation. Therefore the supporting study is classified as reliable with restrictions.
