Classification, Labelling, and Packaging Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008

The available experimental test data are reliable and suitable for classification purposes under Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008. The test substance was not found to be readily biodegradable under the test conditions. The most sensitive test for the aquatic compartment was the toxicity test to algae (Raphidocelis subcapitata). The test revealed a 72-hour ErC50 and ErC10 (growth rate) of 34.9 mg/L and 12.2 mg/L, respectively. The log Pow was determined to be 0.26. Based on these results, the substance is not classified for aquatic short-term (acute) toxicity, but classified for aquatic long-term (chronic) toxicity Category 3 (H412, Harmful to aquatic life with long lasting effects) according to Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008 (CLP), as amended for the fourteenth time in Regulation (EU) 2020/217.
