Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Results and discussion

Relative self-ignition temperature (solids)
Key result
Remarks on result:
no self-ignition observed up to the melting point

Any other information on results incl. tables

Results:

The test item was a yellowish/white powder: on completion of the test, the test item was a melted black solid mass. Whilst heating the test item no exothermic reaction was observed in the temperature/time plot.

Observed result: No relative self-ignition below the test item's melting point.

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Conclusions:
The test item has been determined to not have a relative self-ignition temperature below its melting temperature.
Executive summary:

The determination was carried out using a procedure designed to be comptible with Method A.16 Relative Self-Ignition Temperature for Solids of Commission Regulation (EC) No 440/2008 of 30 May 2008.

The test item has been determined to not have a relative self-ignition temperature below its melting temperature.
