Additional information

A GLP study was conducted in accordance with the OECD Guideline for the Testing of Chemicals. 15 „Surface Tension of Aqueous Solutions" using the OECD harmonized ring method. The GLP study determined the surface tension of an aqueous preparation of the test item (1000 mg/l) at 20 °C to be 73.2 mN/m. The test item was not surface active.

This was supported by an elder GLP study where the surface tension of an aqueous preparation of the test item (1000 mg/L) of the technical substance was determined to be 72.1 mN/m at 20 °C in accordance with the Guideline 92/69/EEC of 31 July 1992, Annex 5, Surface tension using the ring method.
