Disposal considerations

The site operates within the consent windows of the appropriate regulatory bodies for discharge to air or water. In site, there is a dedicated biological treatment facility that handles all process waste water.

Used drums are not reused. They are stored in a dedicated area prior to being sent for disposal to local authority approved and regulated, specialist disposal companies under contract.

Although the process involves liquids in/liquids out, a small amount of waste solids are generated. The site disposes of waste solids to local authority approved and regulated, specialist disposal companies under contract.

Laboratory waste is likewise sent for disposal to local authority approved and regulated waste disposal companies under contract.
