The substance shows first a small endothermic signal between 173 °C and 202 °C which corresponds to a mass loss of 0.9 weight% in the TGA (Thermogravimetric Analysis).

This signal has not been considered as a melting point but indicates the release of unknown volatile compounds, although the test item has been previously dried.

Above 400 °C a highly exothermic decomposition reaction has been measured that is not finished at the end of the scan at 500 °C. The energy content that could be measured is already 3107 J/g, indicating most likely a REDOX reaction of the test item with the aluminum crucible. The overall loss of mass due to the decomposition of the substance is 42 weight% within the scan and 53 weight% after the end of the measurement. No melting point was measured before the decomposition starts at > 400°C.
