Applicant's summary and conclusion
- Conclusions:
- The median particle size Lso of the test item deduced from the particle size distributions is
approximately 6050 um.
The median particle size L10 of the test item deduced from the particle size distributions is
approximately 3500 um.
The median particle size Leo of the test item deduced from the particle size distributions is
approximately 9100 um.
Overall conclusion:
The sieving is restricted to the selected sieves which have certain separation efficiency and are
limited in their number. However for median particle sizes larger 2000 um the laser diffraction can
not be used anymore. - Executive summary:
Due to the high concentration of coarse particles of the test item, these particles were separated by sieving the product with different sieves.
The median particle size L50 of the test items deduced from the particle size distributions is 6050 um.
The particle size L10 of the test items deduced from the particle size distributions is 3500 um.
The particle size L90 of the test items deduced from the particle size distributions is 9100 um
