Description of key information

Key study (001). Test method according to 92/69/EWG, A.10, comparable to guideline with acceptable restrictions. GLP study. Test substance did not present any flammable properties during test, moreover, test A.12 was not conducted because it was expected to fail due to the test substance structure (not forming flammable gases with water) and test A.13 was also not performed because test substance can be handled in air without ignition.

Key study (002). Test method according to 92/69/EWG, A.10, comparable to guideline with acceptable restrictions. GLP study. Test substance did not present any flammable properties during test. Test A.12 was not conducted because it was expected to fail due to the test substance structure (not forming flammable gases with water) and test A.13 was also not performed because test substance can be handled in air without ignition.

Additional information

Justification for classification or non-classification

Based on the available information on flammability, test substance is considered to be non-flammable, non-pyrophoric and does not liberate flammable gases in contact with water; therefore, the substance is not classified.
