First-aid measures
Description of first aid measures
After inhalation:
Remove affected persons from danger zone. Supply fresh air.
After skin contact:
Immediately remove all soiled and contaminated clothing. After contact with skin, wash immediately with plenty of water.
After contact with eyes:
Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing. In case of persisting irritation seek medical advice.
After ingestion
Do not induce vomiting. Clean mouth with water. Call a doctor. Consult a doctor/medical service if you feel unwell.
Most important symptoms and effects, both acute and delayed
After contact with eyes: eye irritation
Indication of any immediate medical attention and special treatment needed
Treat symptomatically
Fire-fighting measures
Extinguishing media
Suitable extinguishing media: foam, dry-chemical extinguishing agent, carbon dioxide, water spray.
Unsuitable extinguishing agents: water with full jet.
Special hazards arising from the substance or mixture
Formation of dangerous gases possible in case of fire.
Advice for fire-fighters
Wear respirator equipment which is independent of the ambient air and chemical protection clothing.
Additional remarks: Contaminated fire-fighting water must not get into the sewerage network, ground or waters.
Accidental release measures
Personal precautions, protective equipment and emergency procedures
Emergency procedures:
Untrained personnel: Avoid substance contact. Ensure adequate ventilation. Evacuate the danger area.
Emergency personnel: Do not attempt active without suitable protective gear.
Environmental precautions
Avoid release into the environment. Prevent from getting into sewerage network, ground or waters.
Methods and material for containment and cleaning up
Take up mechanically and collect in suitable container for disposal.
Handling and storage
Precautions for safe handling
Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Open and handle receptacle with care. Do not eat, drink or smoke at work.
Conditions for safe storage, including any incompatibilities
Storage/ Storage places and containers
Keep only in the original container. Ensure adequate ventilation of the storage area. Keep container tightly closed.
Specific end use
