Conclusions:
The surface tension of the test item was determined for the pure sample and the saturated aqueous solution at 20 °C and 40 °C:
20 °C: pure sample = 29.4 mN/m / saturated aqueous solution = 42.2 mN/m;
40 °C: pure sample = 27.2 mN/m / saturated aqueous solution = 44.1 mN/m.

Executive summary:

The surface tension of the test item was determined for the pure sample and the saturated aqueous solution according to EU Method A.5 at 20 °C and 40 °C:

20 °C: pure sample = 29.4 mN/m / saturated aqueous solution = 42.2 mN/m;

40 °C: pure sample = 27.2 mN/m / saturated aqueous solution = 44.1 mN/m.

Description of key information

The surface tension of the test item was determined for the pure sample and the saturated aqueous solution at 20 °C and 40 °C:

20 °C: pure sample = 29.4 mN/m / saturated aqueous solution = 42.2 mN/m;

40 °C: pure sample = 27.2 mN/m / saturated aqueous solution = 44.1 mN/m.

Key value for chemical safety assessment
