According to REACH regulation, Annex VII it is stated: The study does not need to be conducted if there are mitigating factors indicating that aquatic toxicity is unlikely to occur for instance if the substance is highly insoluble in water or the substance is unlikely to cross biological membranes.
The solubility is below 1 mg/L and the substance can be stated as highly insoluble. Furthermore a study according to OECD 202 was conducted to evaluated the toxicity against daphnia. A saturated solution of the test item is not toxic. Thus further testings on algea are not necessary.
