First-aid measures
Eye contact
Flush eye with water while lifting the upper and lower lids. Seek medical help if
irritation develops or persists.
Skin contact
Wash with soap and water. Get medical attention if irritation develops or persists.
Inhalation
Remove victim to fresh air. Get medical attention if irritation develops or persists.
Ingestion If conscious, wash out mouth with small amount of water. Do not give anything to an
unconsciousness or drowsy person. Do not induce vomiting. Get medical attention

Environmental precautions
Prevent further leakage or spillage if safe to do so. Do not let product enter drains.
Methods and materials for containment and cleaning up
Large Spills: Stop the flow of material, if this is without risk. Dike the spilled material, where this is
possible. Cover with plastic sheet to prevent spreading. Absorb in vermiculite, dry sand or earth
and place into containers. Following product recovery, flush area with water.
Small Spills: Wipe up with absorbent material (e.g. cloth, fleece). Clean surface thoroughly to
remove residual contamination.

Use suitable protective equipment. Avoid contact with eyes, skin and clothing.
Observe good industrial hygiene practices

Protect containers from physical damage. Store at room temperature, protect from light and moisture.

Exposure controls / personal protection
General safety and hygiene measures:
Handle in accordance with good industrial hygiene and safety practice. Wash hands before breaks and at the end of workday
Hand protection:
Handle with gloves. Gloves must be inspected prior to use. Use proper glove removal technique (without touching glove’s outer surface) to avoid skin contact with this product. Dispose of contaminated gloves after use in accordance with applicable laws and good laboratory practices.

Waste from residues / unused
products
Dispose of in accordance with local regulations. Empty containers or liners may retain some
product residues. This material and its container must be disposed of in a safe manner (see:
Disposal instructions).
Contaminated packaging Since emptied containers may retain product residue, follow label warnings even after container is
emptied. Empty containers should be taken to an approved waste handling site for recycling or
disposal.
