- The mean relative density of the reaction mass of cucurbit[6]uril, cucurbit[7]uril and cucurbit[8]uril was found to be 1.536 at 20 deg C using the pyknometer method.
- Executive summary:
The purpose of this study was to determine the relative density of the reaction mass of cucurbit[6]uril, cucurbit[7]uril and cucurbit[8]uril. The study was performed in accordance with the OECD guideline 109 and Regulation (EC) 440/2008, Annex Part A test A3. The density, determined by the pyknometer method, of the solid test item at 20°C was 1536 kg/m3. The relative density (D204) was 1.536.

Description of key information
A GLP study was conducted to determine density and relative density for the reaction mass of cucurbit [6]uril, cucurbit[7]uril and cucurbit[8]uril in accordance with current OECD and EU testing guidelines, using the pyknometer method. The density of the solid test item was 1536 kg/m3at 20°C. The relative density(D204) was 1.536.
