First-aid measures

Emergency measure - Inhalation: Remove to fresh air, rest and keep under observation

Emergency measure - Eyes: Wash eyes thoroughly with water; if irritation occurs,

refer for medical attention.

Emergency measure - Skin: Wash skin thorougly with water; if irritation occurs, refer

for medical attention.

Emergency measure - Ingestion: Wash out mouth thoroughly with water and give water to

drink. If a large amount is swallowed, seek medical

attention.

Fire-fighting measures

Recommended extinguishing agent: Carbon dioxide, water, foam and dry powder extinguishers

may be used. Combustion products will be mainly carbon

oxides and water together with some nitrogen oxides.

Accidental release measures

Emergency measures in case of spillage: Put on gloves, goggles and face mask; sweep up and

incinerate with an adequate supply of air.

Handling and storage

Handling: Wear gloves, goggles and face mask.

Storage: Store in 25 kg bags in sealed polythene liners within

closed fibre-drums.
