Description of key information

In the acute immobilization test with Daphnia magna (STRAUS), the effects of five nominal loading rates (1.00 – 2.20 – 4.84 – 10.6 – 23.4 mg/L) of the test itemEfka-K-122 were determined according to OECD 202.

The test item is a waxy white to yellowish solid, which is practically insoluble in water. The study was conducted under semi-static conditions over a period of 48 hours with five WAFs with nominal loading rates of 1.00 – 2.20 – 4.84 – 10.6 – 23.4 mg/L of the test item. . The test solutions were renewed after 24 hours.

The WAFs of the test item Efka-K-122 and the control were analytically verified via TOC in fresh media of all concentration levels and in the control at the start of the exposure and at renewal (0 and 24 hours) and in 24-hours old media at renewal and at the end of the test (24 and 48 hours).

The EC10 is defined to be 4.84 < ELR10< 10.6 mg/L, and the EC50 is 10.4 mg/L
