Additional information

The purpose of this study was to experimentally determine the melting point/melting range of Spectrace®

MD-810 Marker (RWS-2-43). The study was conducted according to procedures outlined in the protocol,

“Spectrace® MD-810 Marker (Solvent Free): Determination of the Melting Point/Melting Range”,

Wildlife International, Ltd. Protocol Number 129/032907/102/SUB129 and Rohm and Haas Company

Protocol Number 07P-019.

The melting point/melting range determinations were performed using a Büchi Melting Point B-540

instrument with melting point capillaries. Triplicate aliquots of the test substance were transferred to

separate melting point capillaries. Determinations were performed between 115 and 140°C with the

temperature increasing at a rate of 1.0°C per minute.

Under the conditions specified, the mean melting point of Spectrace® MD-810 Marker (Solvent Free)

was 124°C (398 K).
