Details on test solutions:
The test item was not soluble. A special solubilization protocol was carried out before the experimentation according to the OECD23 guidance document on aquatic toxicity testing of difficult substances and mixtures. This method consists in stirring each test item nominal concentrations in test medium during 24h, in the dark and 20±2°C.

Details on results:
All the validity criteria were successful
Results with reference substance (positive control):
EC50-24h reference item (K2Cr2O7) = 1.32 mg/L
Validity criteria fulfilled:
yes
Conclusions:
The toxicity potential on aquatic invertebrates was determined according to the OECD202 guideline. The results obtained fir the test item on the toxicological endpoint "immobilization" give an EL50-24h and an EL50-48h higher than 1050mg/L (highest tested concentration). Regarding these results, the test item is not considered as toxic for aquatic invertebrates.
Executive summary:

The toxicity potential on aquatic invertebrates was determined according to the OECD202 guideline. The results obtained fir the test item on the toxicological endpoint "immobilization" give an EL50-24h and an EL50-48h higher than 1050mg/L (highest tested concentration). Regarding these results, the test item is not considered as toxic for aquatic invertebrates.

Description of key information

Study performed under GLP conditions.
