Justification for classification or non-classification

The lecithins were broadly studied for toxic effects.

The EFSA experts conclude that despite a lack of description of statistical method, several prenatal developmental studies in mice, rat and rabbits with lecithins, showed that no developmental effects were induced up to the highest dose tested (1,600 mg/kg bw per day, mice and rat and 475 mg/kg bw per day in rabbits).
