Conclusions:
The surface tension at 20°C of 4-Aminobenzoyl-b-alanine is 71.6 mN/m for a 1 g/L concentration in water. Therefore, 4-Aminobenzoyl-b-alanine is not regarded as a surface-active material.

Description of key information

The surface tension of 4 -Aminobenzoyl-b-alanine at 20°C was determined according to OECD Guideline 115 and EC Method A.5 and was found to be 71.6 mN/m for a 1 g/L concentration in water. Therefore,

4 -Aminobenzoyl-b-alanine is not regarded as a surface-active material.
