Executive summary:

The test covers the determination of the closed cup, flash point temperature of a liquid chemical, in air, at atmospheric pressure. Dependent upon the nature of the test material, there are two procedures for testing.

The test is conducted in accordance with the procedure described in EU Regulation (EC) 440/2008, Annex Part A test A.9.
