Description of key information

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Oxidising properties:

Additional information

The REACH Regulation, EC 1907/2006 Annex VII Column 2, 7.13 Oxidising properties states that, "The study does not need to be conducted if the substance is incapable of reacting exothermically with combustible materials, for example on the basis of the chemical structure (e.g. organic substances not containing oxygen or halogen atoms and these elements are not chemically bonded to nitrogen or oxygen, or inorganic substances not containing oxygen or halogen atoms)."

The test substance does not show oxidising propreties based on the structural formula, therfore no test was conducted.

Justification for classification or non-classification

Based on the information and review of the substance, it is deemed not to be potentially oxidising and thus is not classified as oxidising according to the CLP Regulation (EC) No.1272/2008.
