Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.
The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information
The registered substance decomposes into bromides (not bioconcentrated) and copper compound. Therefore, it is considered that the harmfulness to the environment will have a greater influence on the copper compound. That is why it has been decided to use the PNECs of copper.
A Volontary Risk Assessment Report was available for copper. The comprehensive Copper Voluntary Risk Assessment, completed by the copper industry covers the production, use and end-of life aspects of the copper value chain. It shows that the existing legislative framework generally safeguards Europe’s environment, the health of industry workers and the general public. Following extensive review, the risk assessment was agreed by the European Commission’s Technical Committee for New and Existing Substances. The Commission’s Scientific Committee on Health and Environmental Risk (SCHER) also performed an evaluation and further endorsed the conclusions on the environmental and human health risk characterisations. Then, the conclusions of this initiative were endorsed by the EU authorities and the Copper Voluntary Risk Assessment was published on the website of the European Chemical Agency (ECHA).
The PNECs derived in those VRA reports were therefore used for CSA purposes.
