Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

This study is waived because for the PBT/vPvB assessment the P will be addressed first. A simulation study with 1,2,4,5,7,8-Hexoxonane, 3,6,9-trimethyl-, 3,6,9-tris(Ethyl and Propyl) derivatives is proposed. The results of this study can be used for 3,6,9-Triethyl-3,6,9-trimethyl-1,4,7-triperoxonane as well, because this is the main component of the mixture. Furthermore, the substance has an estimated BCF of 725 L/kg, which is below the threshold for B-classification.  3,6,9-Triethyl-3,6,9-trimethyl-1,4,7-triperoxonane is only used in industrial settings with no wide dispersive uses. This test is also waived as releases to the aquatic compartment are very unlikely due to the highly contained processes during downstream (industrial) use.
