As Sulfonic acids, C14-18-alkane hydroxy and C12-20-alkapolyene and C14-18-alkene and C12-20-alkene hydroxy, sodium salts is rapidly degradable, in accordance with the Regulation (EC) 1272/2008 Appendix 1 (table 4.1.4) Sulfonic acids, C14-18-alkane hydroxy and C12-20-alkapolyene and C14-18-alkene and C12-20-alkene hydroxy, sodium salts will be classified as hazardous to the aquatic environment category 3. The applicable hazard phrase is “H412: Harmful to aquatic life with long lasting effects”.
