Thermal stability:

Two DSC measurements showed an endothermal effect in the temperature range of 60 - 120 °C and an exothermal effect in the temperature range of 200 - 290 °C with a max. energy release of 382 J7g. After this exothermal effect up to the final temperature the course of the baseline indicated a pressure rise.

Explosive properties:

The heat of decomposition was below 500 J/g. Therefore the main test on explosive properties was not required.
