Conclusions:
Observations from an acute oral study and repeated dose oral toxicity studies demonstrate that Bromoform can be rapidly absorbed from the gastrointestinal system. It is also anticipated that an inhaled dose will be rapidly absorbed across lung membranes.

Systemically absorbed Bromoform can be expected to be excreted rapidly via exhalation either as parent compound, or as CO2 derived from metabolic breakdown.
Executive summary:

Introduction

An expert review of toxicokinetic data on Bromoformv was undertaken to provide a basic toxicokinetic asessment as required for REACH Annex VIII registration. The assessment was based on available data from toxicological studies studies and some literature references. No specific toxicokinetic studies were undertaken.

Conclusion
