The log Pow of the test material was estimated using high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) as described by guideline OECD 117, under GLP conditions.

 

The log partition coefficients (log Pow) were determined based on the mean retention times of the four major components comprising the test substance, and the values were extrapolatedb beyond the upper limit of the calibration curve provided by p,p-DDT with a log Pow of 6.5. The resulting log partition coefficient of the test substance is therefore considered a limit value.
