The surface tension of 90% saturation solution of 3-(isodecyloxy) propylammonium acetate was found to be 48.691 mN/m with RSD of 0.359% at 20.3ºC.
Executive summary:

The present study was conducted to determine the surface tension of3-(isodecyloxy)propylammonium acetate, as per the OECD guideline for testing of chemicals, No. 115, Surface Tension of Aqueous solutions, adopted: 27 July 1995.

The test item 3-(isodecyloxy)propylammonium acetate concentration of 90% of saturation solution was used for the analysis. The surface tension measurement was performed within 30 minutes from the time of preparation. Triplicate samples of3-isodecyloxy)propylammonium acetate were prepared for the analysis and the values obtained were 48.886, 48.639 and 48.547 mN/m for replicates R1, R2 and R3 respectively. The calculated mean surface tension 3-(isodecyloxy) propylammonium acetate was found to be 48.691 mN/m with RSD of 0.359% at 20.3ºC.
