Administrative data

Endpoint:
oxidising solids
Data waiving:
study scientifically not necessary / other information available
Justification for data waiving:
the study does not need to be conducted because there are no chemical groups present in the molecule which are associated with oxidising properties and hence, the classification procedure does not need to be applied
the study does not need to be conducted because the organic substance contains oxygen or halogen atoms which are chemically bonded only to carbon or hydrogen and hence, the classification procedure does not need to be applied
Justification for type of information:
JUSTIFICATION FOR DATA WAIVING
In a statement (see attached justification) it was concluded that the substance has no oxidizing properties.

In accordance with UN RTDG/MTC/Appendix 6/Screening procedures/Section 6.1 for substances which may have oxidizing properties, the classification procedure for oxidizing substances in Division 5.1 does not need to be applied.
