Specific hazards during firefighting: Decomposes in a fire giving off toxic fumes: Carbon monoxide, Carbon dioxide.

Special protective equipment for firefighters: Fight fire with normal precautions from a reasonable distance. Fire fighters should wear complete protective clothin including self-contained breathing apparatus.

Keep containers cool by spraying with water if exposed to fire. Avoid run-off from fire fighting to enter drains or water courses. Avoid release to the environment. If possible without risk move drums with material away from dangerous area.

Accidental release measures

Personal precautions: Caution - spillages may be slippery. Do not touch or walk through spilled material. Shut off leaks if without risk. Ensure suitable personal protection during removal of spillages. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Avoid breathing vapours.
