Description of key information

Hydrolysis

Based on the chemical structure of the test item, hydrolysis is not expected. This statement is supported with literature data - Harris (1990), Kollig et al. (1993) and Boethling & Mackay (2000) (reference 5.1.2-1).

Biodegradation

Under the test conditions according to OECD TG 301 F, the degradation rate of the test material did not reach 60 % within the 10-day window and after 28 days of incubation. Thus, the test item is not readily biodegradable (reference 5.2.1-1).

Adsorption/desorption

The adsorption coefficient of the test item was found to be log Koc = 5.5. The Koc was calculated to be 316227.77 L/kg (reference 5.4.1-1).
