The flame of the gas burner did ignite the test item rope. The test item melted, burned with a orange and blue flame and turned into a brown residue. White smoke was observed. After removal of the ignition source, the flame extinguished after 1 second and no propagation of combustion was observed.
According to the UN guideline, no further testing is required.

A GLP study according to EC A.10 and UN Test N.1 was performed. In the preliminary screening test, the substance does ignite but does not propagate combustion either by burning with flame or smouldering along 200 mm of the test item pile. The substance melted in contact with the flame.
The substance is concluded to be not a flammable solid.
