Results and discussion

Flash point
Key result
Flash point:
ca. 145 °C
Atm. press.:
ca. 101.3 kPa

Any other information on results incl. tables

A pre-test followed by two determinations were conducted. For the pre-test, a flash point of 146.0°C was observed. This data was used to select the range of temperatures for the following determinations.Determinations 1 and 2 respectively gave a corrected flash point of 145.0°C and 147.0°C at 101.3 kPa.

Moreover the flash point of the reference substances glycerol and CRM respects the checking cards limits.

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Interpretation of results:
GHS criteria not met
Conclusions:
The corrected flash point of the test item was determined to be 145°C at 101.3 kPa (lowest value of two independent determinations).
