Description of key information

Bisphenol F Diglycidylether was assessed for ready biodegradation potential in four independent O.E.C.D. 301 Testing Guideline studies conducted with GLP compliance.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Biodegradation in water:
under test conditions no biodegradation observed

Additional information

Bisphenol F Diglycidylether was not readily biodegradable under the conditions of the O.E.C.D. 301 B and 301 D screening studies. The maximum percent biodegradation observed in one of the O.E.C.D. 301 B studies was 16% for 10 mg/L at 28 days of contact.
