Description of key information

An O.E.C.D. Testing Guideline 111 study was conducted on Bisphenol A Diglycidylether, a structural analog of Bisphenol F Diglycidylether (BPFDGE).

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Half-life for hydrolysis:
117 h
at the temperature of:
25 K

Additional information

A GLP, O.E.C.D. Testing Guideline 111 Hydrolysis as a function of pH study was conducted on the structural analog Bisphenol A Diglycidylether (BADGE) of Bisphenol F Diglycidylether (BPFDGE). Detection of the parent compound, BADGE was by HPLC/UV. Based on the findings from this study, Bisphenol F Diglycidylether is anticipated to have a hydrolytic half-life of approximately 70 to 205 hours at 25 degrees C independent of pH.
