Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

Experimental data on the toxicity of Mochon roh to aquatic microorganisms are not available. Therefore, the assessment is based on experimental data for the 4 -methoxycyclohexanone (CAS 13482 -23 -0) and 4 -methoxyphenol (CAS 150 -76 -5). 4-Methoxycyclohexanone (CAS 13482-23-0) showed a 3-h IC50 of > 10000 mg/L in an activated sludge respiration inhibition tests according to OECD 209 (ECHA disseminated data; query date: 2018-05-15). The effects of 4-Methoxyphenol (CAS 150-76-5) on aquatic microorganisms were investigated in a non-guideline growth inhibition test withTetrahymena pyriformis. The 40-h IGC50 was 174 mg/L (nominal; ECHA disseminated data, query date: 2018-05-28).

Based on available data, it can be concluded that the inhibition of the degradation activity of activated slude is not anticipated when introduced in appropriately low concentrations.
