- The procedure used was based on Ph Eur method 2.2.11 Determination of Distillation Range. 50.0 ml of sample were heated by means of a hemispherical heating mantle at ambient pressure (recorded as 100.1 kPa). Head temperature and amount of distillate were read and used to develop a distillation profile. Extrapolation to standard pressure of 101.3 kPa was not performed.
