Key value for chemical safety assessment

Effects on fertility

Description of key information

Based on the results of a dose range finding study it was concluded that a repeated dose study with the undiluted substance is not possible. Taking into account that it was impossible to develop an analytical method it was concluded that it is technically not feasible to dose animals to a stable form of the test item and to conduct a repeated dose study. The considerations are also included in the read across document, attached in Section 13.

Justification for classification or non-classification

In absence of data on reproduction and developmental toxicity due to the fact that testing was found to be technically not feasible, 1,4-H6XDI is not classified for reproduction and developmental toxicity according to the CLP Regulation (EC) No. 1272/2008.
