Description of key information

The product DABCO® NE 1080 (mixture of bis-N,N'-(3-dimethylaminopropyl) urea and 3-dimethylaminopropyl urea was tested by the differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) method per OECD method 102. There was no freezing point evident for the sample on cooling. A glass transition (Tg) and a melt were evident on heating. The average onset of the Tg is 194.7 K (-78.5°C). The melt was in the 269.1 to 282.9 K (-4.2 to 9.7°C) range.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

Only glass transition temperature is indikated, no melting point was observed.
