Executive summary:

A study was conducted to determine the melting point / freezing point of the susbtance according to OECD Guideline 102 and EU Method A.1. To determine the melting behaviour (three independent single measurements), the test substance was measured by differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) between -90°C and 350°C with a heating/cooling rate of 10 K/min in 4 cycles. For the measurement, a capsulated crucible was used. Under the study conditions, the substance showed no melting of the main component up to 238°C. From 238°C, the substance showed an exothermic effect with decomposition (Kintrup, 2016).
