First-aid measures

- General advice:
- Following inhalation:
Move victim to fresh air. Give artificial respiration if victim is not breathing. Administer oxygen if breathing is difficult. If irritation develops and persists, seek medical attention.
- Following skin contact:
Remove all contaminated clothing and footwear. Wash off with water. Use appropriate protective equipment when treating a contaminated person. Consult a doctor in the event of any complaints.
- Following eye contact:
In case of contact with substance, immediately flush eyes with running water for at  least 20 minutes. If eye irritation persists, get medical advice/attention.
- Following ingestion:
Do NOT induce vomiting. Rinse mouth. Do not give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. If signs/symptoms develop, get medical attention.

Fire-fighting measures

- Suitable extinguishing media: In case of fire use media as appropriate for surrounding fire.
- Unsuitable extinguishing media: No data available.
- Special hazards arising from the substance or mixture: None known.
- Advice for fire fighter:
Fire fighters should wear fullface, selfcontained breathing apparatus and impervious protective clothing.
Fire fighters should avoid inhaling any combustion products.

Accidental release measures

- Personal precautions:
Material is a solid ceramic part and has no known health hazard unless dust is generated. If dust is generated during spill or clean up, wear appropriate Personal  Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Protective equipment and emergency procedures:
No special emergency procedures are expected to be necessary in the event of a spill.
- Environmental precautions:
Avoid release to the environment.
- Methods and material for containment and cleaning up:
Pick up pieces and place in container or bag for disposal. Sweep or vacuum any dust or particulates generated.

Handling and storage

- Precautions for safe handling:
Material is a solid ceramic part and has no known health hazard unless dust is generated by sawing, dicing, sanding or grinding. Keep solid material dry. Avoid  contact with water. Use safety glasses and approved dust mask when generating dust.
- Conditions for safe storage, including any incompatibilities:
Store in a dry place.

Exposure controls / personal protection

1. Technical protection measures: Good general ventilation should be used. Ventilation rates should be matched to conditions. If applicable, use process enclosures, local exhaust ventilation, or other  engineering controls to maintain airborne levels below recommended exposure limits. If exposure limits have not been established, maintain airborne levels to an acceptable  level. Ensure that dust handling systems (such as exhaust ducts, dust collectors, vessels and processing equipment) are designed in a manner to prevent the escape of  dust into the work area (i.e., there is not leakage from the equipment).
2. Personal protective equipment:
* Respiratory: For limited exposure use an N95 dust mask. For prolonged exposure use an airpurifying respirator with high efficiency particulate air (HEPA) filters. Follow the OSHA respirator regulations found in 29 CFR 1910.134 or European Standard EN 149. Use a NIOSH/MSHA or European Standard EN 149 approved respirator if exposure limits are exceeded or symptoms are experienced.
* Hand / Body protection: Wear appropriate gloves.
* Eye protection: Wear safety goggles.
3. Environmental exposure:
Follow best practice for site management and disposal of waste. Controls should be engineered to prevent release to the environment, including procedures to prevent
spills, atmospheric release and release to waterways.

Stability and reactivity

1. Reactivity : No dangerous reaction known under conditions of normal use.
2. Chemical stability : Stable under normal temperatures and pressures.
3. Possibility of hazardous reactions : Hazardous polymerisation not indicated.
4. Conditions to avoid : None known.
5. Incompatible materials : None known.
6. Hazardous decomposition products: None known.
