Description of key information

Setafix X 11342 has no oxidising properties.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Oxidising properties:
no

Additional information

Examination of the molecular structure of Setafix X 11342 establishes beyond reasonable doubt that the test substance is incapable of burning, when mixed with cellulose, at a higher or equal rate compared with the maximum burning rate of a reference mixture of cellulose and barium nitrate. The substance does not contain any group that might act as an oxidising agent. The oxygen atoms that are present in the test substance are all bonded to carbon, which indicates that the molecule is oxygen deficient.

Justification for classification or non-classification

Setafix X 11342 has no oxidising properties.
