Description of key information

The substance is an insoluble organic UVCB solid with a low vapour pressure. There is no toxicokinetic data on the substance itself. Due to the surfactant properties of the substance it is not technically possible to determine a true water solubility or log P value, though these have been estimated to be very low. Therefore, it is difficult to make meaningful estimations of the ADME profile based on physico-chemical properties. However, the chemical structure(s) are based on methylated/quaternized, long chain alkyl amide species which would likely not be well absorbed. The available toxicity data shows no evidence of systemic toxicity which would also suggest either a lack of absorption and/or an inherent lack of toxicity. Given that the substance is not expected to be absorbed it is likely that the substance(s) that are not subject to metabolism will be excreted in the faeces.
