The test item was observed to ignite after 9 seconds of application of the burner flame. The flame propagated along 200 mm of the train in a total of 5 minutes and 53 seconds. The middle of the train did re-ignite at the end of the test, but spontaneously extinguished after approximately 1 minute. As this was longer than the limit of 4 minutes, the test item was not considered to be highly flammable.
The study is a GLP compliant, guideline experimental study and is fully acceptable for this endpoint.
