Administrative data

First-aid measures

- Skin contact: Wash off immediately the polluted portion with plenty of water, and clean with soap and water. Take all contaminated clothing off immediately.

In the case of skin eruption or burn, get medical attention.

- Eye contact: Immediately flush eyes with large quantity of clean water for at least 15 minutes Consult medical personnel.

- Inhalation: Remove to fresh air if effects occur. Consult a physician.

- Ingestion: In case of accidental ingestion, immediate medical treatment is necessary.

Note to physician: No special antidote. Treatment based on judgement of the physician in response to reactions of the patients.

Fire-fighting measures

- Suitable extinguishing media:

Water spray, dry chemical powder, CO2 or form.

- Special hazards arising from the substance or mixture:

No data available, but thermal decomposition or combustion may produce carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide and oxides of nitrogen.

- Advice for fire fighter:

Firefighters should wear normal protective equipment (full bunker gear) and self-contained breathing apparatus.

Do not use a straight stream of water.

Keep personnel removed from and upwind of fire. Cool container with water spray.

Accidental release measures

- Personal precautions, protective equipment and emergency procedures

Clean-up personnel should wear adequate protective clothing and equipment to prevent inhalation of dust and skin and eye contact.

- Environmental precautions

Do not flush in to the sewer.

- Methods and material for containment and cleaning up

Absorb materials with any commercial waste absorbent. Dike large spills and place materials in salvage containers. Consult an expert on the disposal of recovered material.

Handling and storage

- Precautions for safe handling

Avoid contact with eye, keep container closed

- Conditions for safe storage, including any incompatibilities
