Conclusions:
The water solubility was determined to be 0.24 ± 0.03 g/L.
Executive summary:

Water solubility of fatty acids lanolin lithium salts was tested according to OECD TG 105 using a flask method (Dunning 2018). The test solutions were analysed by gas chromatography following 72 hours shaking in a water bath at 30 +- 0.5°C. The water solubility of the test item was determined to be 0.24 ± 0.03 g/L at 20°C.

The study is GLP-compliant and was conducted according to the standard guideline, therefore is considered reliable without restrictions and suitable as a key study for this endpoint.

Description of key information

The water solubility of fatty acids lanolin lithium salts is 0.24 ± 0.03 g/L at 20°C.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Water solubility:
0.24 g/L
at the temperature of:
20 °C
